CODY
CODY
Cody retired to The Villages in 2020 and quickly set three goals: learning to play the guitar, singing, and performing both publicly. Today, he regularly performs over 90+ times a year.

As the ‘chief maniac of the “Beatlemaniacs of the Villages,” he curates, performs and manages the 30 member bands’ – 2 hour performance – every Friday at the Odell Recreation Center.

He’s also a member of the “Rewind Band,” which features a blend of music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Cody also performs solo on a private basis, and collaborates with his fellow ‘manics in “Abbey Road Forever” band. He enjoys music, laughter, his fellow bandmates, fun, and interacting with the fantastic fans from The Villages, Florida.

GARY
GARY
Gary’s musical journey began in 1965 when his parents brought home an acoustic guitar from a friend who owned a nearby music store. After a year of lessons, he made his first public appearance in his fifth-grade music class. Inspired by hearing the Beatles on the radio, Gary knew he wanted an electric guitar, and soon his parents got him one.

He continued playing throughout grammar and high school, performing with various bands at different venues. After graduation, he even started a sound company that provided audio systems for local groups.

Over his six decades as a guitarist, Gary has had the honor of opening for several well-known national artists such as David Bromburg, Johnny Paycheck, Blues Traveler, Mac McAnnally, and Peter Asher. Since relocating to The Villages, he has spent 13 years performing with The Beatlemaniacs of The Villages.

Gary’s ongoing ambition is to keep learning new music, play a wide range of styles, and connect with other musicians who share his passions.

DAVID
DAVID
Dave Critchley is a native of New England who learned to play the guitar and bass, at an early age. Dave played in various bands and combos throughout High School and College, turning professional after graduation.

With the added responsibilities of a wife and children, Dave put his musical ambitions on hold to pursue a 40 year career as an engineer in Aerospace, designing and developing gadgets, devices, and systems he’s not allowed to talk about.

Upon his retirement and the purchase of a new home in The Villages, Dave sought to ‘resurrect’ his musical ambitions and began playing with friends and clubs in The Villages.

Today, Dave can be seen playing with ‘Abbey Road Forever’, ‘The Beatlemaniacs’, ‘The Classic Mix’, and jamming with friends all around The Villages.
